During the fourth quarter of 2023, the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Egypt displayed diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the key metrics for the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, ranging from approximately 11.3K to 17.6K. The highest download count was recorded in mid-November with around 17.6K downloads. Weekly active users for this app hovered between 21K and 25K, with a slight dip toward the end of the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced a varied download trend, starting at 7.8K in late September and peaking at 10.3K in mid-November. The weekly active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 9.8K and 11.6K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent weekly download rate, with figures generally between 6.3K and 9.7K. However, the app saw a decline in active users from 146.6K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 106.2K by the end of December.
